Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) is hosting a Canada Day event on July 1st at Island Lake Conservation Area in celebration of the 150th anniversary of confederation. The event is open to the community and includes family-friendly activities throughout the park, ending with fireworks over the lake.

During the festivities, CVC will hold an official opening ceremony and ribbon cutting of the new waterfront amphitheatre.
