Featuring three Doug Carrick-designed golf courses – each ranked inside SCOREGolf’s Top 100 Courses in Canada – TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley is Canada’s first TPC Network facility and offers a world-class golf experience for every kind of player from beginner to pro.
“It’s one of those places that once you get here, you really feel like you’re away and you’re glad to be here. This is the best three-course golf club, I think, in North America.”
~ Lorne Rubenstein, Journalist, Author and Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member
Opened in 1992 and later expanded to three courses in 2001, the 600-acre property is located in the picturesque rolling hills of Caledon, just a 45-minute drive from Toronto Pearson International Airport. With its three distinctive courses, each offering a completely different aesthetic than the other, it’s the kind of golf experience that keeps players coming back to experience everything they love about the game of golf.

“Each course offers a unique layout, challenges different parts
of your game and is aesthetically completely different.”

Heathlands opened in 1992 as one of Ontario Golf Hall of Fame course architect Doug Carrick’s signature designs, inspired by the traditional links golf of the British Isles. Although inland, the course manages to effectively emulate key elements of traditional Scottish links, with its rolling dunes covered with fescue grasses and pot bunkers. Like many courses in Scotland, Heathlands is even built between a road line and a rail line. The course’s tight, undulating fairways make it perhaps the most challenging course at TPC Toronto, and true golfers inevitably fall in love with it.
Winding strategically through stunning pine forest and dunes, the Hoot course bears similarities to wasteland courses like Pine Valley in the United States and is characterized by its give-and-take rotation of challenging holes and scoreable risk-reward opportunities. Hoot features panoramic tee shots in a tranquil setting that feels like its own space away from the rest of the world, from the Muskoka-like feel of the par-5 sixth to the signature design of the waterfall that bisects the par-4 17th.
The expansive, lush and more forgiving North course, formerly known as the Toot, welcomes players of all abilities with generous landing areas and wide collection areas flanking green complexes. But though it is considered the most player-friendly of the three courses, its back tees stretch to more than 7,200 yards and bring strategically-placed bunkers into play to make it a test for even the best players. The North course hosts some of the world’s top up-and-coming players annually at the Osprey Valley Open, an official Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada event.
All three courses are open to the public, while regular players can take advantage of Annual Memberships that give players access to TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley’s courses and facilities all year long. Events such as Nine & Dine, A Night For the Ladies and Men’s Night take place all season long, offering a chance to take part in fun-filled events through the year.
