Maria has over 30 years experience in business, charity and community involvement. A tireless volunteer, Maria has brought her leadership skills and experience to the Boards of many of the most notable and well-respected organizations within the community. In 1997, Maria served as the first female President of the Brampton Board of Trade; 2008 Maria served as the Chair of the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation; 2009 Maria was appointed to the Board of the William Osler Health System; 2007 Maria was appointed Chair of the Community Council for the Salvation Army’s Family Life Resource Centre for women. Maria has served as a Business Ambassador for the City of Brampton and well as the Brampton Economic Development committee for 15 years. Maria now serves on the Economic Development Committee for the Town of Caledon as well as the 2015 Pan/Parapan American games committee.
Since 1984, Maria has been a registered realtor in good standing under the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act and the Ministry of Consumer Relations. An expert negotiator, Maria has operated as an Independent Contractor within the Real Estate industry for over 30 years responsible for all aspects of her business. Maria has gained the experience, professional education and designations and subsequent trust of her clientele to lead consultations on planning, zoning and Official Plan amendments and interpretations.
From her extensive experience, Maria has developed skills as a collaborative leader, working closely with her clientele, business, government and community organizations to build a positive working relationship to the betterment of the communities she serves. Maria takes great pride in being responsive to her clients needs ensuring that they are treated with respect and that they get the best care and accurate advice at all times.
