Everdale’s community teaching farm in Hillsburgh is a working organic farm, training facility, and ‘farm park’. Our charitable mission is to offer programs and services that build healthy local communities. As a local leader in environmental literacy and food awareness education for the community, Everdale has welcomed thousands of visitors to our community teaching farms in Hillsburgh and Toronto since our founding in 1998.

Growing fresh organic local food

Join us for our 18th season on the farm, join the Harvest Share Program! When you buy our food it’s a win-win. You receive your choice of incredible food and you support our mission of working towards healthy future at the same time! That’s right, you choose the weeks you come, you choose the produce you receive, and you choose the quantity that you need too. Harvest Share at the farm is on Thursdays 3-8 and Saturdays 8:30am – 11:30am – YEAR ROUND! Come and see what it’s all about. kyle.warren@everdale.org

Teaching kids about food & Farming

Bring your class to the farm for an engaging one of a kind farm school program – trips are hands on, curriculum linked and can be catered to your needs – grades K-12.

The seventh year of Farm Camp is taking a fresh approach to how kids engage and learn about food. Farm camp delivers the most of what the farm has to offer but in a way that suits YOUR child’s individual ages and stages. Weather it is exploring worms, harvesting cucumbers, building a shelter in the forest, helping with the livestock or tasting their way through the fields – campers will discover how their favorite food journeys from seed to fork.  YUM!
