Century Church Theatre is sponsored and maintained by The Erin Arts Foundation, a registered charity and not-for-profit corporation. The Erin Arts Foundation supports Century Theatre Guild, which produces three plays each year, plus a traditional, English-style pantomime in November-December. The Guild is member of the Association of Community Theatres, Central Ontario (ACT-CO), and participates in their Annual Festival. In addition, the Foundation produces year-round concerts featuring local performers, as well as international artists.

Century Church Theatre is celebrating a number of awards garnered by its Theatre Guild members for the two most recent plays that were entered in the Association of Community Theatres Festival.

In the Comedy category, November’s pantomime, “Snow White and the Famous Seven”, by Jo Phenix, won an Adjudicator’s Award for Ensemble. The citation read, “Outstanding performance…Outstanding community engagement and inclusiveness that exemplifies the spirit of Community Theatre”. “This is a tribute to the hard work of over 30 members of the cast and crew,” says director Jo Phenix. “We had people from age 7 to over 70 working together, and our biggest and most enthusiastic audience ever.”
