Fitness Facilities & Programs
At ACTS, our 3000+ square foot Cardio and Resistance Training rooms are generously furnished with only the best brand name fitness equipment offered in the industry. All to help you improve your fitness level, regardless of your fitness goals and training style. Whether you’re new to working out, a recreational fitness enthusiast, a trained professional or Olympic-level athlete, we have what you need.
And if you feel you need direction or extra motivation to determine and achieve your fitness goals, ACTS employs a number of highly qualified and enthusiastic Fitness Consultants and Certified Personal Trainers who will work with you – one-on-one.
For the more socially inclined, we offer a broad range of innovative, dynamic and professionally-instructed group fitness classes – seven days a week.
If you’d like to learn more about specific aspects of fitness, or want to improve a particular skill, we offer expertly instructed clinics and classes, for members and non-members alike.
From the sports dome to our climate controlled gymnasiums, there’s definitely a lot of room to be athletic at ACTS.
The sports dome. Fully opaque, the insulated sports dome is 24,000 square feet of year-round playing – ‘omni grass’ synthetic turf surface. Currently we use the dome for lacrosse and soccer leagues, but it can easily accommodate virtually any outdoor field sport.
Gymnasiums. 12,000 square feet of climate controlled gymnasium space. Retractable NBA regulation basketball rims and backboards. A wide assortment of athletic and sporting equipment. Our gymnasiums are ideal for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, badminton, lacrosse and oh, just about any sport that can be played indoors. Which is probably a good reason why ACTS has been host to various Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) tournaments for various age levels.
Sports camps – A regular feature at ACTS, Kids aged 6-13 will have the opportunity to be a part of various organized group sports, games and activities, all well making new friends, learning new skills and the importance of staying active.
ACTS Sports Performance. Reach new heights in your sport with our Sports Performance program. You’ll train with other elite athletes in a fun and positive environment, and (we’re sure of this) achieve amazing results. Our instructor-led training program incorporates many aspects of top-level training – including self-discipline, mental toughness, and self-motivation.
We also offer a range of child and youth sport and recreation programs – year-round. When schools are closed, parents can take advantage of our Summer Sports & Recreational Camps, Spring Break and Winter Sports Camps – and be comfortable in the knowledge their children are kept active in a safe, enjoyable and nurturing environment.
ACTS Club Care is available to members with children (up to age 10), from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 12 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12 pm. No appointments are necessary and members can purchase multiple sessions or monthly packages. For more information, call 519.940.3735.
