You can skate on the pond or the 2km skate track at Island Lake Conservation Area. If cross country skiing or snowshoeing is more your style, check out Terra Cotta Conservation Area where equipment rentals are available. Folks who already have the winter gear can head directly to Island Lake or Terra Cotta where you’ll find well-marked trails throughout the conservation areas. With 27 kilometres of groomed and track-set trails, Albion Hills Conservation Area offers winter fun in many forms from skiing to snowshoeing to tobogganing for all levels from beginners to experts and has the rental equipment available to do it all.
