This year is Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation & one of the ways that Mono will be celebrating is by hosting a Mono Hiking Challenge.
The ‘challenge‘ is to hike one or all of the 20 designated hikes that are part of the program. For each hike completed, a participant will receive an entry into the Grand Prize draw, a 1-week stay for two people at Canoe North Adventure Lodge, in Norman Wells, Northwest Territories courtesy of Canoe North Adventures.
To become a participant, all that you need to do is register here anytime after May 1st, 2017. Then, from June 4th through October 31th, 2017, hike as many of the designated trails as you want.
Each time you complete one of the designated trails you will receive an entry into the Grand Prize draw. Hike one trail – get one entry; hike 5 trails – get 5 entries & so on. Hike all 20 and you will be entered into the draw twenty times.
During each hike you will be asked to take a selfie at a specially designated sign post on the trail and upload the image using the hashtag #monohikingchallenge.
