Making peace with food & embracing mindful eating without fear of deprivation or obsessing about body image is the focus of this unique “NON DIETING” wellness group where you will find an inspirational support group for women of all ages. Each session will begin with a themed 15 minute presentation by Clinical Social Worker & Chopped Canada Winning Chef, Pam Fanjoy, MSW, RSW. Pam is the Owner at Fan/Joy Restaurant & Bar in Hillsburgh ON and has 20 + years of experience guiding Mindfulness Meditation groups throughout the GTA with a broad spectrum of clients seeking healthy lifestyle changes for optimal well being.
You will set your own personal goals for your improved nutrition, physical, emotional and spiritual health in 2018 and the group will be held every Sunday morning and pre-registration is required. Participants are welcome to share in open discussions or can take in what is meaningful to them in quiet mindful reflection. A commitment to positively challenging negative thoughts that hold you back and embracing receiving inspired support of yourself and others that are attending the group is what makes this a safe environment to discuss your personal growth and goals.
Group sessions will be held on Sunday mornings for one hour and your fee includes a healthy light continental breakfast, coffee & tea. Full Sunday Brunch menu is available at 10 am when the restaurant opens.
